Within this role, you will provide integral secretarial and administrative support, including handling all correspondence, diary management and additional support on ad hoc projects. This is a great chance for a confident EA, with strong diary management and administrative skills, to join a team who dedicated and highly motivated team. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9:00 -17:00, based in Norwich city centre, with a potential hybrid of office & home working. Duties to include: Acting as the first point of contact & handling all correspondence. Providing integral secretarial and administrative support. Managing and organising diaries, arranging appointments and travel, and prioritising as appropriate. Dealing with all incoming calls, re-directing, taking messages, and acting as required. Actively managing a busy inbox, ensuring important emails are flagged and handled in a timely manner. Sorting, distributing and responding to incoming mail. Assisting meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes. Creating reports & presentations. Managing & maintaining databases and spreadsheets. Organising and maintaining filling systems. Providing additional business support on ad hoc projects where needed. You will have/be: Solid Personal Assistant experience. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Well organised with the ability to deliver on deadlines. The ability to prioritise & multitask efficiently. Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail. The ability to work in a confidential manner. Personal Assistant/Rehabilitation Support Worker Hunstanton 20 hours per week £12.83 per hour Are you experienced in working with a client with an acquired brain injury? Are you enthusiastic about supporting clients to live a full and active life, enabling them to access and enjoy hobbies, activities and social situations? If so, this could be the role you are looking for. Our Client John is a gentleman in his 50's who lives independently in his home but requires an element of support from a PA/Rehabilitation Support Worker who is experienced in working on a one-to-one basis with a client. John has family close by and he maintains regular contact with them and he also enjoys going out and about, attending community events, visiting the local pub and interacting with others. John suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of a road accident when he was in his 20's which has resulted in some cognitive defects, memory issues, increased levels of fatigue and general mobility difficulties. John is independently mobile with the help of his walking aids and a mobility scooter which he uses when out and about. John's receptive language is good however as a result of his injury, John's speech can be hard to understand at times and he can struggle more with expressing himself verbally when tired. Hobbies & Interests John thrives on a structured timetable of activities and outings which enable him to mix with others and help to prevent a feeling of social isolation which he can be prone to. John regularly attends a number of local social activities and amenities including friendship and community groups, activities at the local library and going for a drink at his local pub. He is a passionate sports fan and especially likes to watch motorcycle racing and football on the TV; John supports Manchester United and loves to watch their games and monitor their progress each season. The Role We are looking for a PA/Rehabilitation Support Worker who will bring their experience and knowledge of a similar role to enable John to continue doing the things he enjoys and promote his independence. You will be required to support John within his home environment, which may include some household tasks and life admin' as well as using a creative approach to find other hobbies to create a stimulating home environment, or alternative pursuits he might try within the community. The successful candidate will be required to encourage engagement with others within the community and promote appropriate communication. John may sometimes benefit from help with decision making, organisation and recognising when tired and in need of a rest. It is a requirement of the role that you hold a full, clean UK driving licence and are able to use your own vehicle to transport the Client on occasion. Hours of Work The hours of work offered are 4 hours per day Monday to Friday 11:00 - 15:00. There is a requirement that candidates are able to offer flexibility as the hours may need to vary on occasion, depending upon the needs of the Client.
