Personal Assistant to Headteacher Location: Wellingborough Job Type: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30 Salary: £12 - £16 per hour We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support the Headteacher at a vibrant primary school in the Wellingborough area. The ideal candidate will be someone who can start immediately, working full-time hours throughout the school week. Day-to-day of the role: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Headteacher. Manage the Headteacher's diary and schedule appointments. Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using Excel and Office 365. Take minutes during meetings and ensure accurate records are maintained. Handle confidential information with discretion. Assist in the coordination of school events and activities. Serve as a point of contact between the Headteacher and other staff members, parents, and external agencies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficient in Excel and Office 365. Proven experience as a personal assistant, with strong organisational skills. Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential. Ability to take accurate and detailed minutes in meetings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Maintain Vendor card info accurately. Manage Vendor communications, address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and handle disputes promptly. Sales Ledger: Generate customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with orders. Reconcile Aged Debtors monthly. Review and manage Customer card information. Conduct credit control activities, including chasing overdue sales invoices. Experience: Minimum 2 year's in a similar role. Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions.
