HR Business Partner / Senior Peple Manager 12 month FTC to start in August About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and experienced HRBP / Senior People Manager to deliver consistent, reliable, and customer-focused HR support, acting as a trusted advisor across dynamic client groups within the fast paced world of Media - in this role, no two days will be the same! Key Responsibilities: Act as a Trusted Advisor for your client groups on Employee Relations, Reward, People Development, Contractual issues, and Organisation Change. Collaborate with the Head of People on complex cases and projects, coaching the senior leadership for the client groups you support. Identify and implement improvements to add value to the business. Support and coach stakeholders on people management issues including confidential or highly sensitive people challenges Ensure timely and accurate resolution of HR issues, adhering to SLAs. Respond to complex queries confidentially and escalate as needed. Support global mobility for international assignments. Contribute to process improvement and standardisation. Participate in change management projects. Develop and monitor people policies and procedures. Build effective relationships with internal and external contacts. Identify and mitigate people risks. Required Skills and Experience: ESSENTIAL - Experience in a fast paced environment such as entertainment, media, broadcast, Technology, E-commerce or similar. ESSENTIAL - Extensive experience advising and coaching on Employee Relations. ESSENTIAL - Must be happy to start a new role in August and commit for 12 months minimum. Excellent customer service and proactive approach. Sound understanding of HR practices and employment law. Ability to manage confidential information discreetly. CIPD qualified or equivalent professional experience Collaborative and motivated to improve service delivery. Working in a small team and reporting to the People & Culture Manager, in this Employee Relations focussed role, you will provide first-class generalist HR advice, guidance, coaching and support on all people-related matters. As the business has grown, it has become evident that some managers need more guidance on people related issues to better lead their teams, ensuring consistency, and ensuring a high performance culture. This includes: Absence management ensuring early intervention into Occupational Health and proactive management of sickness absence cases, ensuring all meetings are documented as appropriate Coach managers on how to have difficult conversations Coach managers to understand HR policies and processes, upskilling their knowledge and therefore ability to manage people situations effectively and consistently Performance management Disciplinary, grievance etc. Support with business reorganisations, consultations, contract changes etc. Build strong, proactive relationships with our managers across the business Ensure HR Policies are reviewed and updated in line with legislative and organisational changes and processes are documented and easily understood by managers and colleagues Using your knowledge of employee relations, provide input and support on the design and delivery of training content Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on key HR Metrics Skills, experience and qualifications needed: CIPD Level 5 or working towards Complex and varied ER case management experience Confidence to work with managers at all levels
