Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join their team
Duties include
To manage the Payroll Team in ensuring that all staff are paid accurately and that payslips, statutory returns and reports are produced and validated in a timely manner.
Ensure appropriate workload allocation, sharing of knowledge, review performance and instil a culture of continuous improvement, development and outstanding customer service.
Portfolio Payroll are partnered with a fantastic firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to hire an experienced and forward thinking Payroll Team Leader on a permanent, full time basis.
As Payroll Team Leader, you will report directly into one of the firm's Partners.
Based in Norwich, with agile and hybrid working, this role will oversee a team of payrollers and will be responsible for supporting, guiding and motivating the team, checking work and maintaining your own small portfolio of clients.

Overseeing the payroll team, deputising for the Payroll Manager when required.
General
As Payroll & Pensions Team Leader, you will oversee the timely and accurate payroll processing for circa 1000 employees, you will also lead and develop a small team of Payroll Assistants.
This is a great opportunity for a Payroll & Pensions Team Leader to join a £200m division of a major company.
To assist the Team Leader in taking responsibility for the operation and profitability of their team members and client's, whilst balancing a client portfolio of your own - reporting directly to their Team Leader
The payroll team manages the payroll for approximately 1,400 employees.
Working in close collaboration with the HR department, the Head of Payroll position also focuses on the ongoing enhancement of the payroll service and the satisfaction of its customers.
This role ensures the prompt and precise processing of the payroll whilst adhering to all legislation and statutory reporting requirements.
