Job Title: Materials Administrator Location: Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience Benefits & Perks: Early finish on Fridays Closed over Christmas 23 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays Relaxed work environment Free on-site parking 8% Employer Pension Contribution About Our Client: Our client, a leading packaging company, is seeking a skilled Materials Administrator to join their team. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, our client is committed to delivering high-quality products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Key Account Managers and other team members to manage customer projects and orders Establish customer requirements and categorise them as standard, customised, or bespoke products Provide samples, pricing, and supply details to customers and resolve any queries Review customer orders and pass them to the Customer and Sales Support team for processing Assist in materials development administration tasks, such as updating product inventory and managing obsolescence Work closely with the Materials Technical Team to ensure accurate pricing and lead times Manage a portfolio of projects, identifying and addressing any barriers to timely completion Essential Skills: Strong organisational and analytical skills Methodical approach with attention to detail Excellent numeracy skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Effective written and verbal communication skills Customer service focus Desirable: Experience in the packaging industry Knowledge of materials, specifications, and stock management Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously Due to the location, you must be able to drive and have your own transport.
