This role requires someone who has solid payroll experience - you could either be an experienced payroll clerk or payroll manager looking for a role with fewer responsibilities.
This role is offered based on a hybrid working pattern (partly in the office partly from home).

Key Tasks
In the absence of the Payroll Supervisor ensure that all appropriate procedures are carried out in accordance with agreed schedules in line with Council Policies and Procedures.
Provide specialist payroll subject matter support and advice to the broader payroll department, including understanding the impact of legislation changes and the ability to complete manual payroll calculation and comprehensive, detailed payslip explanations.
Process correct and timely salary payments to designated payroll areas across our FTSE 100 client (including Channel Islands, Isle of Man and international employees), and provide a specialist payroll service to same.
Our client is looking for somebody to come in to administer the monthly payroll, including collating and data entry of new starters, leavers, overtime, employee benefits, salary sacrifice schemes, loans, pensions, advances, maternity, and paternity leave for submission.
To support the Payroll Manager and Senior Payroll Officer in ensuring prompt and efficient processing of all pay related transactions and returns including pension contributions and other employment related payments.
