The Role: As a Partnership Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and managing key initiatives across our most significant retail partnership. You will have an holistic view of change across the partner proposition, encompassing, Risk, Finance, CX and any IT impacting change and be able to communicate this affectively to multiple stakeholder levels. As Partnership Manager, you will be experienced in delivering complex digital projects, resilient to project pressures, and willing to get into the detail to make things happen. Key Responsibilities: Project Management and Project Governance: Engaging with key stakeholders from across the business to embed the partnership, including our legal, risk & compliance teams. Act as the primary point of contact for the 3rd party partner, ensuring they are kept fully engaged and supported through delivery. Support the product/business owner with senior management engagement, including partnership input into business cases, presentations and EXCO material. Leadership Lead teams to provide clear direction to said colleagues to understand their role, responsibilities and accountabilities within the project and their value to achieving business strategic goals. Demonstrate excellent man management skills to engage staff working within various departments and sites towards achieving common goal. Stakeholder Management To identify and assess key stakeholders, taking appropriate actions to set and manage expectation. Manage key stakeholders and adapt approach and stance in dealing with changing circumstances. To build strong working relationship management with clients, as well as projects involving third party partners/party suppliers. Communication Keep abreast of all key communications within the strategic initiatives and company briefings. The Role The Relationship Manager is responsible for proactively managing client relationships, seeking new opportunities and determining a strategy to effectively manage risk and maximise our client's lifecycle. Relationship Managers are also responsible for managing and supporting the development of Portfolio Executives. The Responsibilities Monitor client's financial performance to identify opportunities and risk. Build your own network of professional advisors and accountants in the midmarket space Complete facility reviews, underwriting, risk frameworks and client visits as determined by the client's status. Manage client files on the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, including collating necessary documents during the onboarding process and throughout the client's lifecycle. Develop and maintain your own network of business connections in the local area. Raise the profile of and maintain the reputation of the business, whilst demonstrating our values and key behaviours. Complete proactive analysis and understanding ofthe client's business. Deliver excellent standards of customer service. Prepare clientfiles to support client reviews for increasing, extending or exiting of facilities. Assist in the delivery of new clients by liaising with multiple stakeholders, whether internal or external. Monitor and report on client risk management, escalating concerns as necessary. Work collaboratively to improve & maintain operational efficiency. The Requirements You will be required to travel for client visits, attend events and other offices - these may include an overnight stay. Relationship Manager experience with the ability to manage credit risk and a diverse portfolio of lending facilities. A strong understanding of accounting principles and their practical application. Experience of running high value portfolios in the SME and mid-market space, with average client borrowings of >£1 million Strong customer service and communication skills.
