Manual Mail Operator Location: Wymondham, Norfolk Hours: 35 hours per week Salary and Benefits: £11.44 per hour Type of contract: Permanent roles available Work Pattern: Mon - Fri: 7am to 3pm Abbey View is one of 17 Paragon sites across the UK. The site specialises in production of outbound and inbound document services. The site contains printing, mailing and warehousing capability for the purposes of outbound mail and postal and electronic receipt, capture, validation and document storage for the purposes of inbound mail. In addition, Production Services, Finance and IT functions reside on the site. Both Inbound and Outbound operations provide services for multiple customers. Your main duties will include: Working as part of a team in a production environment, this role will be to provide early morning support and preparation of the working area for the enclosing team. Your main duties will include: To manually fulfil envelopes with pre-printed letters and associated marketing and compliance material in preparation for collection to the sealing and despatch area. You will book out this work using the Prod MI system. To ensure that all work allocated to you is completed in a timely manner. To be responsible for keeping an accurate record of your activities on Prod MI. To notify the stock runner of any stock that is required. To be responsible for ensuring all work is sealed and readied for despatch to the correct mail service providers (Royal Mail, UK Mail, Whistl, etc). Ensuring all work is taken to the warehouse in time for mail collection. To be responsible for completing any late work in time for the last despatch at 18:00. To return any unused stock to its correct location on the production floor. Clearing down the area in preparation for the team starting at 06:00. Other duties you may be asked to do include:- To collect stock from various locations on the production floor. To undertake any other duties associated with Manual Mail. You will need basic PC skills to be able to check stock and book out work on the Prod MI system. Adherence to quality and output targets and show an all-round willingness to complete other tasks as requested. To adhere to hygiene and housekeeping via the 5's framework and contribute to the continuous improvement philosophy and effectiveness of the Manual Mail team. To always act and behave in a way compliant with all Paragon company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to Environmental Health and Safety, ethics, welfare and codes of principles. The site specialises in production of outbound and inbound document services. Hours: We are recruiting for day and night shifts. Day Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, contracted hours, working 7.00am to 7.00pm, working 11 hours per shift. Night Shift - Monday and Tuesday, working 7.00am to 7.00pm, working 11 hours per shift. What does the role look like: Working as part of a team in a production environment you will undertake the operating of various auto fulfilment and sortation machines, such as Bluecrest. You will also be required to obtain and return stock. Working to established job specifications and procedures and meeting quality and output targets. The job is physical, and you will be required to be on your feet throughout the shift.
