We are thrilled to be working with a rapidly growing company in Hoddesdon who are actively seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support the business. A fast-paced role where no day is the same, we're looking for someone who enjoys speaking with both customers and suppliers, to join this busy company. This role requires a high standard of customer service for our clients and a positive approach to supporting the entire team with high levels of accuracy. Although having purchasing experience is desirable, it isn't essential, and we're able to consider a customer service background here. Key Duties include: Monitor stock levels and identifying any purchasing needs for the business. Researching potential vendors and obtaining pricing for non-stock items. Raise purchase orders for both stock and non-stock items. Assisting with the goods-in process, and working alongside the warehouse team ensuring they are aware of what is coming into the warehouse and when. Working with supplies to confirm orders and chase any deliveries where needed.
