Our client, a long established and well respected engineering business, seek to appoint a Purchasing Manager to manage and control the purchase of goods, materials and services for individual projects, co-ordinating with the Project Managers, Material Controllers and Manufacturing teams.
As Purchasing Manager you will understand engineering and have previous experience working for a manufacturing / R&D focused business with experience of technical buying.

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the administration of the buying cycle.Working closely with the Buying and Merchandising team to deliver sales stock and profit targets by providing accurateand timely administration to support the department and wider business.Partners with key stakeholders to ensure stock is delivered at the right time to allow stock to be in the right place, andat the right time across the store estate.
