Working with the Senior Buyer and Supply Chain Manager, this role will be facilitating the supply of materials from suppliers using MRP.
Are you an experienced Purchasing Manager with management leadership and a good few years of purchasing / supply chain behind you, then this role could be for you.
Have you lead a team before and are able to have a good working relationship with your team and customers to enable an allround good service.
Analysing the sales and forecasts and data are a huge part of this role, together a complete understanding of purchase orders, reporting and managing stock replenishment.
The purchasing team is a team of four and as the Buyer you will play a key role in the procurement of direct materials and indirect services.

The role is initially a 6 month fixed term contract for an immediate start but could lead to a more permanent opportunity in the future.

Responsible for a diverse range of tasks surrounding procurement, inventory planning, strategic inventory management, costs save initiatives along with other daily assignments within the Department for the UK and Europe divisions.
The focus is to ensure all customer orders can be delivered 100% on time and complete, whilst driving for overall value by optimizing quality, service, cost, and inventory.
Applicants should have previous experience in procurement as a Buyer, Senior Buyer, Junior or Assistant Buyer and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and fun team environment.
This job is available on a fixed term contract basis.
