As the Purchasing Assistant you will take on a variety of jobs and responsibilities. Reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include running monthly reports as well as producing month end stock reports. You will assist with the purchasing and ordering of office supplies, placing orders with suppliers, raising POs and follow up on deliveries and their lead times. This role requires good attention to detail when managing stock and part numbers as well as other finance administration tasks. With a good understanding of Excel Spreadsheets and the use of Sage accounting software (desirable) you are required to assist with the management of the in-house services, security, cleaning, plumbers and building repairs. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the Stores by maintaining inbound orders and despatching of goods, making sure all goods are logged on the software system. Preparing parcels for courier collections and accepting parcels which are then distributed to the correct departments. There will also be a minimal amount of office maintenance work. Ideally, you will have experience within a similar role. You will need to drive due to location however there is a potential bus route.
