Our international client is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee a team of three Procurement Administrators. The role requires two days of onsite work and three days of remote work per week. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the purchasing team, ensuring regular completion of training, development plans, and goal setting. Manage the purchasing operations by developing, implementing, and overseeing purchasing strategies, processes, and procedures that align with company goals and enhance operational efficiency. Supervise the dashboards and allocate tickets among the team for purchasing tasks. Provide leadership, mentorship, and growth opportunities to the purchasing team. Generate and share reports on purchasing metrics, ticket volumes, and major projects. Work with Group Finance to ensure service delivery is within budget and allocated to the correct cost codes. Take ownership of and streamline processes for essential purchasing systems. Identify and achieve savings and cost avoidance, reporting on the financial benefits realised. Experience Needed: Proven experience managing an operational purchasing team. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Skilled in supplier negotiation, management, and vendor selection. Proficient in MS Office suite, especially MS Excel. Demonstrated ability in enhancing purchasing processes and systems.
