Working for a family business in a newly acquired office. The company has built its business on excellent customer service and is looking for a Credit Controller who is very flexible and candidate manage high volume, low value accounts. Chasing debt whilst maintaining good relationships with customers Checking customer's credit and approving or denying it, based on industry standards. Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions. Setting up repayments and working with Debt Counsellors. Ensuring customers pay on time and charge them for overdue invoices. Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time. Liaising with Solicitors and Bailiffs. Maintaining accurate records. Implementing changes in the company's credit control system. The successful candidate will be very flexible and be happy to work 5 days a week from the office. An intermediate level of Excel is required including some experience of V-Lookups and Pivot Tables. Knowledge of Sage Line 50 is desirable. Due to location a car driver is preferred.
