Warehouse Manager Burnley £35,000 Benefits Role Profile We are recruiting for our client, who is an established & growing business with multiple locations across the UK. Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will oversee a warehouse team and ensure day to day KPI's are met. You will work Monday to Friday day shift, with some flexibility required in line with business needs. Key Responsibilities Drive and maintain efficient productivity across the Warehouse function, ensuring all KPI's are adhered to. Execute daily workload including labour resource planning and collaborate with stock control team. Liaise with relevant customer base including virtual and face to face meetings to update on progress. Promote safety-first culture across the Warehouse function and engage with H&S team to address any issues. Collaborate with other Warehouse Managers in the network to share best practice and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage people challenges including disciplinaries, absence management, RTW's. Maintain WMS, ensuring data is accurate and invoices to customers are raised appropriately. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in a Warehouse management role, with history of leading teams and developing people. Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal. Experience using various WMS and optimising system usage. Background working in a 3PL/ customer-facing environment would be highly advantageous. As the Project and Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our production facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing both project management initiatives and maintenance operations, ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: o Lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of various CAPEX projects related to facility expansion, process improvement, and technology upgrades. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables. o Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. o Identify and mitigate risks, anticipating and resolving project-related issues to ensure successful project outcomes. o Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Proven experience in project management and maintenance roles within the food production industry. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Role - Management Accountant Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and performance reports for the growing number of subsidiary companies. Ownership of Bills of Materials and Routings to ensure accurate product costings and margin reporting. Supply chain reporting and supplier analysis including tracking cost savings. Stock analysis and monitoring of obsolete, negative, and slow-moving stock. Assisting the Finance team to develop and maintain KPI data. Project costing for subsidiary companies. Project monitoring of New Product Development. Assisting tax advisors with R&D claims. Assisting with the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function. Requirements Experienced gained within a similar role / function. Part Qualified CIMA (and working towards). Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills. Experience of ERP systems, preferably MS Business Central, and the ability to extract and manipulate data into meaningful management information.
