Coordinate and manage full, part load and groupage shipments, booking cargo space, and negotiating rates with carriers.
Build upon existing working relationships with established customer, leading to organic account growth.

Our client, a well-known UK Logistics company are looking, due to significant investment and expansion, to grow their existing freight forwarding team to service their growing customer base.
My client a well established manufacturing company based in Blackburn is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Administrator to work alongside a team of administrators dedicated to stock rotation.
The working hours are working on a permanent back shift 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday.
However for the first week you will be required to train on days which would either be 6am-2pm or 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.
This is a hands on role and will involve working on own initiative, liaising with the transport department to ensure goods are received into the warehouse on time and placed in correct locations.
Working within a small team, you will be responsible for supervising and working in the warehouse department.
