Role: Logistics Coordinator Pay Rate: £14.74 Hour: 40 hours per week Training shifts will be 8 hours between 06:00 - 18:00. Once fully trained, the successful candidate will be added on a shift rota which will include weekends and nights. Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator for a multi-award winner logistic client based in Cardiff. This role is temporary full time and leading into a permanent role with the client. As a Logistics Coordinator, your duties will include; Preparation and checking documentation for containers. Checking containers against booking references and shipping notes. Visually check containers and ensure dangerous and hazardous goods are declared and properly labelled. Input data to the relevant computer systems so that container movement records are kept accurately and up to date. Liaise with and provide necessary information to the Production Co-ordinator to ensure trains can be loaded/unloaded efficiently and on time, and ensure receiving Terminals are aware of train loads arriving. Deal effectively and efficiently with customers/drivers arriving at the Terminal with insufficient/incorrect paperwork for collection/delivery. Where appropriate record container damage on outward/inward trains Maintain stock record of all containers within the Terminal so that their location status and physical condition is always known. The successful candidate for the Logistics Coordinator role will also need the following skills; Experienced IT user Accurate with inputting data into systems. Description The Application Support Analyst (SAP): Supporting SAP across the business in Sales, Logistics, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transport Management System (TMS), Purchasing, Production, Quality and interfaces. Supporting other business applications like Kronos (UKG) application (Time and attendance), Document management application etc. Responding to help desk tickets Supporting users Training users - Planning, creating training materials and delivering training sessions, collecting feedback. Supporting the SAP development team during project implementations Carry out testing - Test planning, test cases design, carry out unitary & end to end testing , defect tracking & reporting. Carrying out periodic checks on IT systems and applications (daily, weekly, monthly) Writing SOPs and user manuals Providing administrative support to the IT Manager in terms of KPI reporting and basic admin tasks Promote Total Quality Management and Continuous Improvement. Working closely with external and internal suppliers/ customers Profile A successful Application Support Analyst (SAP) should have: Proven track record in a similar role Knowledge, proven track record working with SAP and SCM.
