The aim of the home is to help the residents develop and maintain the necessary social and living skills to enjoy a fulfilling life whilst ensuring their physical and emotional care needs are also met. The role includes planning and participating in leisure and social activities, supporting personal care and school routines, preparation of meals, setting boundaries and completing daily records and relevant documentation. Working closely with social workers, healthcare professionals and education teams. The shift pattern is 2 days on, including sleep-ins, and 4 days of. For example: starting at the home at 10 am on a Monday morning and finishing at 10 am on Wednesday morning, including 2 sleep-ins; you will then have 4 days off. Successful Applicant: Must have at least 6 months of previous experience in healthcare. Full UK driving license is required, the role will involve using the company car during shift. Ideally, previous experience in a residential care setting. Hold, be working towards, or willing to complete an NVQ Level 4 in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or hold another relevant NVQ.
