This role requires a dedicated individual to manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care for our young residents.
Working effectively individually and as part of a team, to achieve service outcomes and actively contribute to the development and smooth running of the service in accordance with local policies, procedures and legislation.
Provide housing support service and tenancy management to residents living in an Extra Care scheme for the elderly, or those with care needs, 7 days per week and provide emergency response.
Provide high quality and comprehensive landlord support to the service users to empower them to live as independently as possible.
As General Tradesperson you will carry out repairs and maintenance across the South Somerset properties working closely with the Facilities Co-ordinators at each property to ensure we are always compliant and our visitors are met with a well looked after property .
You will have a wide range of basic construction skills such as plumbing, joinery and general building work with a sound working knowledge of health and safety and compliance.
You will need to work with a high level of attention to detail, be able to prioritise your own workload whilst working closely with the wider facilities team.
