We are looking for a Flooding Improvement Process Electrical Technician (FLIP) to join Thames Water at Mogden, Sewage Treatment Works, permanently.
As a Successful candidate, you will be responsible for carrying out the planned and defect maintenance of FLIP (Flooding Improvement Process) devices throughout the Thames Water area.
You will inspect, fault diagnose and maintain devices fitted at properties, in a safe efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision.
Relevant qualification or equivalent to minimum degree level in a relevant subject which could include psychotherapy.
A minimum of 12 months professional experience of working with at-risk young adults in a residential setting and ability to demonstrate through practice how 'Every Child Matters' relates to the young people living in our accommodation.
An understanding and experience of applying effective ways of working with this client group, in particular YP's with mental health & attachment needs including emerging personality disorder & significant self harm.

About the Role
We are looking to recruit a Floor layer to join our team in Basildon, working across the area.
Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties, you'll be required to fit all types of flooring, including Laminate, Poly Safe, Altro and Cap and Cove, along with some minor plumbing abilities such as minor tiling, removing and refitting utilities.
