Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Housing Implementation Consultant to work within Croydon Council. Job Purpose Croydon Council in the summer 2023 moved from OHMS housing management system to an upgraded system NEC Housing. The Council is looking for one implementation consultants to help the 600 users in using this new system The modules that went live in the 2023 summer include, but are not limited to: Rents and Arrears, Repairs, Voids, Housing Advice, Placements, Allocations, PSL, Tenancy Management, Planned Maintenance, Mutual Exchange, Property Purchase, Service Charges, Lettings. Most of the on-boarding of the new NEC housing has already been completed - but the Council is now moving into a phase 2 of development, taking on new modules which include but are not limited to: Asbestos Register, Asset Management, Choice Based Lettings. This role will require for the post holder to be physically on site in our Croydon offices for the training sessions and other team duties. At the moment this could be at least 1-2 days per week, but this could increase when needed. Specific skills set required for the Implementation Consultant: Knowledge of housing within a local authority setting Experience of training delivery for NEC Housing (previously Northgate) Willingness to travel to sites in Croydon Lead with development of training materials and aids Experience of classroom and virtual training In depth experience of using MS teams for training delivery and business consultations Support for end users - dealing with ServiceNow requests Planning training dates, venues, user management Training needs analysis and session design Developing course outlines Communication skills, helping users in their daily use of the system. What you'll be doing We are looking for a Contractor Liaison Co-ordinator on a part time basis for a 1 year fixed term contract. In this role you will undertake effective coordination of repairs and maintenance works, administrative duties and financial and statistical functions in support of all repairs and maintenance contractors providing excellent planned maintenance, responsive repairs, empty homes, compliance and grounds services to all of our customers. Assist Planners and Supervisors in co-ordinating and monitoring the responsive repairs services delivered by contractors, effectively responding to queries. Liaise with Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors), Operational Supervisors, contractors, Planners, CRC and customers to provide information and support to them as required. Provide regular progress reports to the Planner Supervisor, Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors) and the Operations management team in relation to service delivery Raise orders for works as requested by the Planner Supervisor or Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors) and apply all job costing information accurately and in a timely manner to works in progress or completed jobs, forwarding to the appropriate person or team. Liaise with Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors) and Planner Supervisor to ensure all repairs feedback is actively dealt with and follow up actions in place to improve the customer satisfaction. Requirements What we're looking for Experience of office systems and procedures High level of computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook). Able to prioritise work and manage conflicting deadlines. Experience of working in a customer focused environment. Self-motivation with the ability to use own initiative.
