Are you an experienced Lettings Negotiator? They're looking for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their team on a part-time basis. You must have proven previous experience in residential lettings and have an understanding of property laws, regulations, and best practices in residential lettings. Job Details: Location: Plymouth City Centre Part Time hours: Monday Friday 9:30am 2:30pm (25 hours) Salary £23,000 - £25,000 (Pro Rata) Benefits? Flexible working hours Close to public transport Company car for staff use Your Role: Generate new and repeat business opportunities for property appraisals, instructions, viewings, and lets. Handle enquiries from new applicants regarding available properties. Liaise and negotiate agreements to secure lettings. Support the sales progression team and participate in property viewings as required. Responsibilities: Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for landlords and tenants, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requirements with professionalism. Property Marketing: Employ various marketing channels, including online platforms, social media, and traditional methods, to promote properties and engage potential tenants. Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure properties meet the standards agreed upon in tenancy contracts and coordinate timely maintenance. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, rental values, and competitor activities to provide strategic advice to landlords and optimise rental yields. Administrative Duties: Manage various administrative tasks associated with lettings, such as maintaining records, processing applications, and collecting rents. Requirements: Proven experience in residential lettings with a strong record of successful transactions. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of establishing strong relationships and resolving disputes effectively. Comprehensive understanding of property laws, regulations, and best practices in residential lettings. Proficient with property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Organisational prowess, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. A proactive, detail-oriented approach, committed to delivering superior customer service. Additional Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills and deep knowledge of the local market. Advanced written and verbal communication abilities. Professional demeanour, with a determined, ambitious, and focused attitude. At least 2 years of experience in a Lettings Negotiator role. Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential. You will be a highly motivated, pro-active individual who is able to work independently or as part of a team and possess exceptional organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will play a key role within branch therefore it is essential that you are able to organise and manage your time effectively to maximise your potential within the role. Responsibilities Main duties will include generating viewings and valuations, property negotiations for both sales and lettings, liaising with clients both face to face and by telephone, financial and legal referrals and other general admin tasks as appropriate to the role.
