The suitable candidate will be expected to provide support and to develop resilience and independence, ensuring that children and their families are at the centre of decision making about their lives and the outcomes that they want to achieve without compromising the child's safety.
The Social Worker (Family Support & Intervention) will be responsible for delivering a high-quality social work service to Children and their families who are deemed to have unmet needs and/or considered to be at risk of harm/significant harm.
As a support worker you will find yourself working in a variety of settings, including peoples own homes, in health and social care settings such as supported living services or care homes, and out in the community.
You will be required to support people with a diverse range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and mental health needs.
For this role you will be working in the North Wales area as a child support worker.
