Job Title: Junior Legal Counsel Location: London (City) About the Role: My client, an international Software Company, are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join the team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of commercial contracts, intellectual property, and employment law matters. The ideal candidate will have between NQ to 4 years post-qualification experience. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including service contracts, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts. Intellectual Property (IP): Provide legal advice on IP-related matters, manage IP portfolios, and handle issues related to trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Employment Law: Advise on employment-related issues, including employee contracts, compliance with labour laws, and handling disputes. Legal Compliance: Ensure the company's operations comply with relevant laws and regulations. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with business operations. Corporate Governance: Assist with corporate governance matters and ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures. Cross-Functional Support: Work collaboratively with various departments, including HR, finance, and product development, to provide comprehensive legal support. Preferred Skills: Experience in a technology or SaaS company. Familiarity with data protection laws and regulations. In-house legal experience.
