Finance Business Partner North East Office Competitive Salary Benefits Car/Car KCR Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join the North East office of this forward thinking and progressive organisation, they offer hybrid working arrangements, please note there will be some national travel requirements. Working with the Finance Director, you will help deliver independent assurance over the effectiveness of risk management, governance and control processes. You will facilitate continuous improvement and help the business remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations. You will help drive an ethical culture, encouraging others to 'do the right thing' at all times. You will work well under pressure, achieving individual audit timeframes and the overall annual audit plan. THE ROLE Analyse monthly balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts data (prepared by central finance team), prepare commentary and propose actions as appropriate for review and approval by RFD Prepare overhead accruals/prepayments and forecasts each month for review with RFD in readiness for presentation and review with regional teams Update weekly and monthly cash forecasts in conjunction with regional teams and prepare commentary on key movements for review with RFD. Communicate final versions and agree actions with regional teams. Prepare analysis of build and sales data to identify potential risk or opportunity to forecast Attendance of monthly Project Performance Review (PPR) meetings to ensure project level reporting is robust, accurate and that any risks are identified and dealt with early on Assist RFD in preparation of key analysis of consolidated month end results / forecast in readiness for presentation to Divisional Managing Director and the Board Prepare PPR salient features pack including informative analysis / commentary / proposed actions in readiness for review with RFD and the regional commercial teams. This includes key trend analysis, work in progress monitoring, minimising negative accruals and ensuring risk items are dealt with in a timely manner. Support regional teams with modelling of abnormal / complex funding arrangements as part of tenders or live projects Assist regions in chasing up documentation to minimise irrecoverable input VAT Assist RFD in annual budget and business plan preparation and analysis Assist in the production of regional overhead reporting and forecasting ensuring regional business plans are aligned and supported. You will update weekly and monthly cash forecasts identifying potential risks & opportunities and to be reviewed by the FD. You will attend monthly meetings to ensure project level robustness. You will contribute and drive forward initiatives to enhance value that the finance function provides to the wider business. You will also provide best in class Management information to regional teams to drive business performance and highlight any areas for improvement, ensuring a focus on both improving reports and ensuring established reports and delivered in a regular timely manner.
