My client is looking for a local accounts assistant who wants to join a small friendly business and hit the ground running.
Accounts Assistant required for a new and exciting permanent opportunity working for a small friendly business based in Smethwick with a view to start immediately.
You will be responsible for assisting with the day to day running of the accounts department; your duties will include purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, cash and banking, expenses, petty cash and general office adminstration.
You must be a qualified lawyer with experience of undertaking specialist legal work within a Local Authority or the public sector on all legal matters in relation to contracts and procurement.
Qualified lawyer Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx) with at least five years' post qualification experience.
The candidate will have experience relating to complex multi-million pound procurements and contract activities including but not limited to: public health, strategic regeneration and construction projects, subsidy control advice, light touch (schedule 3 of PCRs), IT and adults, children, and education matters.
This position requires a diligent Assistant Finance Business Partner to provide key financial insight within a fast-paced Not for Profit and Charities environment.
The successful candidate will be integral in supporting budgeting, forecasting and offering strategic financial advice to aid decision making.
