We are looking for a Legal Assistant for our client based in Taunton. This role will assist the Legal Children's Social Care Team. Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm - hybrid is an option. This is a contract running from May until December. Duties will include: Reviewing all open files in respect of redacation of third party data and to ensure that casework files are updated with email correspondance. Filing and service of documents to relevant parties. Maintain records obtaining the required information from court orders, the court, counsel or other professionals. The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Excellent written and verbal communication. Relevant professional level qualification is essential. Able to communicate effectively with clients to identify areas of concern and use a number of different sources to be able to answer a wide range of queries within a deadline. Our well established client is seeking a experienced Legal Assistant for a maternity cover post for an Admin/Legal Assistant working in their Family Law Department?. Responsibilities: The successful Family Legal Assistant will provide support to fee earners and partners who are focused on providing a very high-quality legal service to their clients. Providing full support including using a digital dictation system to produce correspondence and other documentation related to Family Law matters. General team administration including photocopying, faxing, filing and scanning. Arranging meeting room bookings/travel arrangements. Experience required: Experience within Family Law. Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills. High level of attention to detail. Fast, accurate typing ability, ideally using digital audio systems. Experience of using case management system desirable but not essential. IT literate - Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
