We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Planning team supporting the fee earners. You can expect to support Solicitors & Partners in the work they deliver for our clients; their work is mixed and encompasses a range of litigation and non-contentious matters. You may from time to time be expected to support members of the Planning team whilst they work in other offices, but generally your work will be based with the Bristol team. Success in this role is the completion of client matters in a timely and effective way - ensuring our clients (and fee earners supporting them) have everything they need, when they need it. This will mean you need to be highly organised, used to juggling priorities and able to communicate clearly. Working for several different fee earners they won't always know what the other has asked you to do so you need to be confident in your communication style and communicate open and freely with the team. The areas in which you will be supporting the team include: Answering email and telephone queries, redirecting as appropriate to the necessary Fee Earner for review Producing letters, emails and documents Diary management, ensuring appointments are accurately scheduled and catered for, this could include setting up telephone conferences or ensuring meeting rooms are booked for client visits Ensuring electronic and/or paper files are updated to maintain an accurate and accessible document We're extremely proud of the relationships we have built with our clients; being their trusted legal partner so it's important that we match that internally with the people we recruit.
