Are you a qualified teacher experienced with SEN and autism?
You'll teach functional skills English and Maths, embedding employability and life skills and have dedicated time for planning and admin work each week working Monday Friday 9-5.
Confident with approaching employers and building relationships with them?
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with SEN support needs, such as autism or learning disabilities?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a friendly and supportive team to coordinate their project which helps these young individuals into work experience placements or paid employment.
The children are very keen to learn and be part of the class but requires support to manage their emotions and behaviour so a calm, confident approach will be essential.
In this role you will be based in various year groups working with children with SEN who requires support in lessons and accessing academic activities.
