Learning Mentor Location: BD11 Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive We are seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to join our vibrant primary school team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and social development of our pupils, working closely with teachers and parents to help students overcome barriers to learning. Day-to-day of the role: Provide one-to-one support and group sessions for pupils who require additional help. Work with teachers to identify pupils who need extra support and develop strategies to aid their learning. Assist in the creation and implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs). Monitor and track the progress of pupils, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Support pupils with emotional, social, and behavioural challenges, promoting positive behaviour. Facilitate communication between pupils, teachers, and parents. Participate in meetings and training sessions as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in a mentoring, coaching, or teaching role within an educational setting. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by young learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with pupils, teachers, and parents. Patience, empathy, and a positive, encouraging attitude.
