We have an exciting opportunity for an Operational Trainer to join our well established and friendly team based in Gloucester.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of students in a KS3 / KS4 with additional needs, including SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health) and Challenging Behaviours.
You will work closely with the classroom teacher and fellow TA's to ensure the students gain the support they need to succeed.
The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, five days a week.
Teaching and learning focusses on social and communication skills as well as emotional regulation, although academic development is also included within the curriculum.
A resource base attached to a primary school, serving pupils aged 3 - 10 who have Speech, Language and Communication needs.
Pupils who attend the resource base also take part in a range of mainstream lessons/activities.
