We are looking for passionate individuals who want to begin working and training as Behaviour Mentors to support our local SEND Schools in Haywards Heath by helping children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs) and some Complex Needs (Hearing impairments, Autism, Speech and language delay, ADHD).
Applications for the position are welcome from candidates of ranging experience, and training will be provided, although previous experience working with students with SEMH, particularly challenging behaviours and Trauma & Attachment will be helpful.
This role is based in a lovely, rural location near Haywards Heath and is a specialist SEND provision, who are looking for passionate Learning Support Assistants to join their team!
It is a special school catering for boys from age six to twelve with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), including those with Asperger's Syndrome and those with a diagnosis of ADHD.
Due to the location of this School, the ideal candidate will need to be a driver, as it is not accessible via Public Transport.
They are seeking educators to work with a wide range of needs, from children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to more Sensory Behavioural Difficulties linked to Autism to support learning within the classroom.
