The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working as an Architect. This practice focuses its efforts on projects within the following sectors health care, education, blue light including training facilities, and commercial. As a result, this role provides great variety and a chance to work on different projects, helping keep things exciting and challenging. They have a great reputation in every sector, however, they have a stronghold in the blue light sector and the majority of their projects are in this sector. They design creative design solutions, whilst satisfying clients and keeping within budget. Due to recent success and ever-increasing workloads, they are looking to expand the team, hiring a Senior Architect to lead projects and a small team. There's plenty of scope for progression within this role, despite it only being a team of 6. This is thanks to the ambition of the company - they plan to continue growing for the foreseeable future, creating the opportunity become a senior figure within the business. Roles and Responsibilities Working with RIBA Job Stages 0 -7. Revit/BIM skills are essential. Working with the lead Project Architect to: Identify client needs and the practicality of their project. Develop project objectives, briefs, feasibility studies, review site information and implement quality control measures. Prepare concept and developed designs including all BIM outputs Prepare technical designs to include all architectural, information and specialist subcontractor design and specifications, alongside tender applications and presentations. Negotiate with contractors and other professionals. Preparing applications for planning and building control applications. Attend site to check on progress and quality, alongside ensuring it is within budget. Ensuring that the environmental impact of the project is assessed and managed.
