Key accountabilities Establish and execute robust processes and systems to control risks and seize opportunities on projects. Maintain meticulous risk registers to document project & programme level threats and opportunities. Collaborate with project teams, supply chain, and stakeholders to ensure thorough risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting, escalating as needed. Conduct and coordinate risk reviews, track mitigation efforts, provide stakeholder guidance, and stay abreast of project/programme developments to advise on risk management. Administer risk and opportunities registers, ensuring accurate recording, consolidation, and coding of all risks, and updating responses to threats and opportunities. Guarantee that threats and opportunities are accurately incorporated into programme and project baselines, budgets, and contingencies. Lead the Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) process using appropriate risk modelling software. Analyse historical project data to identify trends, lessons learned, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Support the Programme Director and Project Manager in governing and setting risk management direction across work packages. Skills & experience To be successful with your application, you'll need to show that you meet the following essential criteria: Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Substantial experience in Project Controls, Risk, and Issue Management. Through understanding of risk management techniques, risk management systems and risk modelling software. Excellent interpersonal skills to build and manage relationships at all levels within the organisation and across all major functions. Experience of driving through system and process improvements and improving technical capabilities. Strong team player with the ability to lead others Facilitation skills with the ability to positively challenge stakeholders, and senior management. Meticulous attention to detail. As a Project Planner you will work closely with the Planning Manager and/or the Senior Project Controller, as well as the contractors, to produce and maintain an efficient and deliverable Project Schedule and monitor and report performance against it. Well versed in Planning/Programme Controls/Programme Optimisation. Good knowledge of design and build techniques, methods, and durations. Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective relationship management. Meticulous attention to detail with the capability to conduct in-depth analysis of plans. Recognised Project Management/Project Controls qualification is desirable but not essential.
