Service Care Legal are currently recruiting for a skilled Court Officer to support the local authority in managing legal cases related to council and temporary accommodation arrears.
As a Court Officer, you will work closely with Rent Collection Officers and other stakeholders to enforce protocols and maintain accurate records of all court-related activity.
This role involves preparing and representing the Council in court on cases progressing toward eviction due to rent arrears.
The role will fast-paced, varied and will involve supporting and assisting fee earners within the department with all aspects of case preparation including legal research, preparing, collating and ordering documentation, attending on clients, dealing with new enquires, attending ongoing training to keep up to date with relevant legal developments, preparation of court bundles and other administrative tasks.
