Working closely with the head of department, as well as other experienced senior fee earners, your workload will consist of a wide variety of market-leading L&R matters, ranging from the purchase and sale of estates, farms, forestry, and other rural land, to providing legal advice on rural developments covering renewables, residential, telecommunications, and quarrying.
A stellar opportunity has become available for a Land & Rural Solicitor (1-6 Years' PQE) to join one of Scotland's leading teams in this sector, based in Aberdeen.
Clients will cover estates, farming, and rural businesses, to community bodies, funders, developers, and public sector organisations.
The Role: The purpose of the job is to undertake the Acquisition of Land / Rights in Land and carry out Compensation work, including work on major Utility and Infrastructure projects, including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects as well as other major and minor transport, gas, water and electricity schemes, ensuring appropriate fee income to the business.
Main Responsibilities
To deliver a high-quality service to clients, team colleagues and other business teams as directed and to ensure that all correspondence is authorised before sending.
To achieve fee income set in Performance Review albeit that much of the role requires support from more experienced colleagues.
You will be instrumental in supporting the outdoor activity offer at Wallington, helping as many people as possible engage with he outdoors and enjoy our beautiful places.
As an Active Outdoors Assistant you will have a passion for delivering great active experiences in the outdoors.
Combining your excellent customer service skills with knowledge and ability to instruct others in safe activity, you will help our visitors access our summer of play offer as well as ensuring equipment is maintained and stored appropriately.
