Laboratory Technician Pertemps Managed Solutions have been engaged to find a Laboratory Technician on an interim basis for a world renowned FMCG Organisation. This role will be on site in Waltham on the Wolds and is full time. The contract will initially last for 6 Months. Some weekend and bank holiday working may be required. Responsibilities: Hands on in the laboratory to perform a number of experimental procedures with attention to detail and strict adherence to standards of laboratory practice, in order to provide support for the delivery of the research plan across a range of competency areas. You will take and analyse samples within the laboratory. Sample taking and handling/storage. You will also be attending trial support team meetings, trial after action reviews (where appropriate) and liaising with research members on trial requirements and progress updates as a trial ambassador. Reviewing trials as to how well they achieved their aims. You will also be involved in risk assessments and equipment ordering / maintenance. Requirements: Experience of working within a regulated lab Clear communications skills Flexibility to work some weekends and bank holidays Educated to degree level
