Role profile Role requires you to: Communal Services: To provide a communal gardening service. To provide a communal cleaning service as required. Ensure all bin areas are cleaned and disinfected on a weekly basis. To keep all external areas clean and tidy. Assist with refuse collection and clearance of fly-tipping. Support of service contractors within the area. To contact the Council's cleaning and refuse services as required. Housing Services: To assist in providing a sensitive and caring housing management service. To attend to minor and emergency repairs. To help prevent nuisance and vandalism. Provide basic maintenance type services - such as low-level aids and adaptations. To monitor tenants who may be experiencing difficulties, the Caretaker should keep the Housing Officer informed of tenant problems so that the necessary support and advice can be given. Assist with letter delivery and gaining access to properties for appointments as required. Other Information To work within the boundaries of Health & Safety. We are on the lookout for an experienced Rolling Mill Setter. You'll be required to set & operate complex profiles, help come up with the new systems to simplify current jobs and help develop new projects. As the successful Rolling Mill Setter, you will be responsible for the following: Setup of machines at the start of each shift, or whenever changing projects, to ensure the products will have the right thickness and shape without defects. Determine setup specifications, product dimensions, installation procedures and work sequences by reviewing schedules and rolling orders daily. Read drawings to determine the specifications of the current project. Feed metal through the rolling machine to aid in the flattening of the materials. Use special equipment, such as guards, cooling equipment, gears, and guides, onto the rolling machines as needed to maintain health and safety standards. Inspect materials as they come out of the rolling machine to make sure the products meet specifications. Assist in the inspection and maintenance of the equipment to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. Keep accurate records. The Ideal candidate: We need someone who is a team player with an open mind, a good work ethic, willing to get stuck in & bring knowledge to the company. You will need to have good organisational skills & work well under pressure. Most importantly you will need to work safely, in accordance with Health & Safety legislation. A FLT License & Overhead Crane License would be advantageous. The hours are 07:30-16:00 Monday to Thursday & 07:30-15:00 Fridays. 39 hours per week. Salary is dependant on experience.
