Key Responsibilities
Primarily you will be responsible for conducting regular and systematic inspections of housing blocks to assess their condition, safety, and compliance with Fire Safety Regulations, building regulations and housing standards.
About The Role
This role will play a crucial role in ensuring fire safety, compliance, and quality of housing blocks within the jurisdiction of the local authority.
Working within the Ashford Borough Council's Compliance Department, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying potential hazards, and reporting on findings.
Working at a work bench, following drawings, building and assembling electrical products such as wires and batteries, using handheld tools and soldering.
Requirements
Previous experience required working in a electronics manufacturing environment, with soldering and the use of hand held tools.
