Our client, a leading organisation in Swindon, is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. Hourly rate is £12.82 and the working hours are 8.40am - 16.40, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the laundry team to ensure garments are processed correctly and delivered in a timely manner. Keep areas fully stocked with personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain control over locker allocation to ensure efficiency and organisation. Follow all procedures and guidelines to ensure quality standards are met. Perform daily cleaning tasks to ensure the laundry area remains tidy and sanitary. Process undergarments and prep suites efficiently and accurately. Take responsibility for ensuring that all locker rooms are stocked with clean garments at all times. Replenish consumables on a daily basis, including hand gels and IPA wipes. Collect garments from designated areas and maintain accurate records. Allocate lockers to staff members and ensure the process is streamlined. Complete monthly Level 1 surveillance to identify any areas for improvement. Collaborate with stores to order and replenish consumable stock levels. Undertake minor repairs and alterations as needed. Important Criteria: no make-up, no nail varnish/false nails, no false eyelashes, no false tan, no jewellery only plain wedding band allowed.
