Interim Senior Finance Analyst - Immediate Start Job Type: Interim 3 months Reed is Partnered with a global technology business who are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to work under the direction of the Group Finance Manager. The role involves assisting with decision support, planning, management reporting, and project analysis & support for technology costs supporting with Global Technology Operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with various members of the IT Team to support strategic initiatives and identify cost reduction opportunities. Day to Day of the role: Independently prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and analysis for month-end activities. Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes. Calculate IT cost recharges to business lines, interact with, and get involved in the invoicing processes. Maintain IT Fixed assets registers including inter-company transfers and forecasting depreciation for Work-in-Progress IT projects. Liaise with the Central Finance team for inter-company recharges and balance sheet reconciliations. Provide financial result summaries and recommendations to drive sound decision-making on multi-million-pound IT projects to relevant stakeholders. Oversee the GIT working capital requirement tracker. Evaluate business cases for investment decisions and track performance. Serve as an educational resource to internal and external partners, as well as business leaders, to aid in the understanding of financial results and measurement systems/metrics. Support IT Leadership Team tasks and activities such as presentations and planning. Engage in continuous process improvement for IT Finance Analyst and overall GIT. Required Skills & Qualifications: High level of oral and written communication skills. At least 3 years of previous work experience in finance or accounting fields required. Accounting practice (Big 4), IT Finance or financial services experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent required as well as a postgraduate qualification in accounting (such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA). Ability to work independently and meet deadlines on routine and non-routine tasks. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to solve issues. Energetic, motivated, and takes initiative with the capacity to anticipate and develop new processes with minimal direction. Detail-oriented, organised, and can balance competing priorities. Team player with the ability to partner with colleagues in multiple departments and geographic locations.
