Junior Administrator Bedford Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday £22,000 - £23,000 Our Bedford based client isseeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This key role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of their Service Department and representing our company to both clients and their customers. As a Junior Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient administration of your required departments. This role involves handling various administrative functions and representing the business directly to clients and customers. Main Duties: Accept and handle incoming telephone calls and email requests call-outs. Organise and manage engineers' weekly schedule using specialist software. Determine cost liability for each job, categorising them as chargeable or non-chargeable to clients. Collaborate closely with managers to ensure cost-effective use of resources. Process and manage administrative systems. Maintain and update the full postal addresses database for every development, keeping track of contract liability dates. Assist in the implementation of software systems. Enhance knowledge of job costing. Arrange attendance for commissioning on contracts. Raise invoices for chargeable works and follow up on payments. Participate in monthly departmental meetings with engineers and attend handover meetings. Provide clients with updates on all outstanding jobs as requested. Qualifications: Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Highly proficient in IT and using specialist scheduling software. Comfortable and confident when on the phone. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.
