Support the Finance team in ad hoc financial analysis and projects ?? Work closely with the Sage 200 system to enhance its effectiveness in the business ?? Junior Accounts Assistant Annual Salary: £25k - £27k (depending on experience) Location: Feltham Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (subject to probation period) and office based role We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Clerk to join our expanding finance team. The role involves a range of accounting tasks including credit control, invoice posting, and bank reconciliations. This position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of finance experience, preferably within the freight industry, and who is proficient with Microsoft Excel and systems. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct credit control activities to ensure timely payments. Post purchase invoices accurately within the system. Manage bank receipts and payments, maintaining meticulous records. Perform bank and CDS reconciliations regularly. Allocate costs to jobs effectively and accurately. Generate ad hoc reports and analysis to support management decisions. Required Skills & Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in a finance-related role. Experience within the freight industry is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Systems, particularly Excel (V Look-up & Pivot Table). Familiarity with Sage Line 50 and BoxTop is an advantage. Strong personality with the ability to handle month-end deadlines and pressure.
