The role of Internal Sales Advisor is a full-time, permanent position offering Monday-Friday 0900-1700 (office based) with a salary of £28,000 per year plus bonuses, 38 days annual leave, excellent benefits and free parking. Internal Sales Executive £30,000 - £32,000 per annum Braintree, Essex Monday - Thursday, 8am-4:30pm & Friday's 8am-2pm Are you a highly motivated individual with excellent customer service skills? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their dynamic team in Braintree, Essex. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: Liaise with external and internal customers, including end users, Technical Support, Planning/Logistics, and Sales. Generate new business opportunities and upselling where appropriate. Process and respond to incoming enquiries via fax, telephone, and email. Submit customer open order reports to ensure accurate tracking of orders. Receive and input customer orders/sample requests into the system within 24 hours. Notify line management of new contracts and pricing agreements requested by Key Account Managers. Review, analyse, and progress orders, and escalate any issues when necessary. Participate in customer visits and provide excellent service during face-to-face interactions. Assist with the administrative process of returns in accordance with the quality process. Work closely with the Finance Department to manage credit, issue credit/debit notes, and resolve invoice queries. Continually review business practises and processes, providing suggestions for improvement and implementing best practises. Collaborate with Sales and Planning teams to develop accurate part-by-part forecasts. Attend meetings and reviews as required, ensuring effective communication within the team. Escalate any issues to line management when necessary. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and legal responsibilities. Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar customer service role. Strong communication skills across all mediums. Good IT literacy, including MS Office, Excel, and databases. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and written/oral communication skills. High level of numeracy and attention to detail. Proactive and responsive to customer requirements. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Professional and flexible approach with the ability to work under pressure.
