Working within the manufacturing industry, we are looking for a Senior Buyer to join their growing team. The Role A pivotal role within the Procurement Team, working closely with Commodity Buyers and internal stakeholders to ensure Purchasing Best Practices and Internal Processes are followed. Working with Manager to ensure Key Supplier Management is maintained and reported. Ensure execution and delivery of allocated commodity products are ordered and delivered in time to fulfil Production and Customer demand. Working with Buyers to ensure Key Products and Parts are kept updated and maintained. Assist the Manager with updating, maintaining, and executing Business & Department Strategy. Ensure KPI's are met with both Internal Depts and Suppliers. Manage expectations and work with multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment. Continuous Improvement - Work on multiple Cost Saving / Value Adding exercises. Engage with new suppliers and develop existing suppliers. About You Minimum of 5yrs experience working within a Manufacturing & Procurement Role - Essential. CIPS Qualified - Preferred but not Essential. Organized and methodical in approach. Good communication skills - verbal & written. The Package Salary £40,000pa. Office based Princes Risborough, onsite Mon - Fri. Benefits including 24 days holiday, bank holidays and your Birthday.
