Purpose of Role
Our client's Binder Management division seeks a skilled people manager to step into the role of Team Underwriting Manager - Private Clients, in a hybrid role.
General
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to identify and capitalize on opportunities aimed at augmenting the company's insurance revenue.
The primary objective of this role is to uphold the operational excellence of the Private Client Delegated Authority Agreements (DAA), encompassing servicing, underwriting, and administration, executed promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
You will be responsible for analysing portfolios and risks, improving exposure management, and working on catastrophe analytics.Prior experience within a similar catastrophe modelling role (RMS is preferable) Prior experience in portfolio management (desirable) Excellent industry knowledge and understanding of insurance terminology The ability to be able to communicate complex modelling concepts to non-modellers A confident communicator, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
