Food Technology Teacher Salary: Competitive, in line with Teacher Pay Scale Location: Kirkham, Lancashire Job Type: Full-time, Long-term We are looking for a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in Kirkham from September on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Delivering Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, with the opportunity to teach KS5. Creating and implementing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Engaging students in the subject matter and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback. Managing classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning environment. Acting as a role model for students, embodying qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, and politeness.
