Accounts Payable Team Leader - Maidenhead £28,000 - £32,000 22 days holiday bens 3 days per week in the office, 2 days at home Our growing, well-established, multi-site UK client are seeking an experienced AP Team Leader to join their growing AP Team of 5 to be based at their UK Central Head Office in Maidenhead. You may well be an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist, or a current Team Leader but ready for a new challenge. Reporting to the AP Manager, you will be able to oversee the team in their absence and also be responsible for: Overseeing and supervising the AP Administrators, in order to deliver high levels of performance Dealing with staff fairly and effectively, and ensuring work is allocated evenly and sufficiently, in order cover for absences Responsible for training of new staff, on processes, systems and day-to-day queries Checking invoices are being processed by the team correctly and to the correct GL codes Processing of weekly payment runs Taking ownership of the AP in-box and helping the team prioritise their workloads Ad-hoc same day payments as and when required for urgent payments Aged creditors - reviewing and actioning any outstanding items, debit balances, missing invoices, payments taken Reconciling Direct Debit accounts Processing lease invoices, council taxes and reconciling utility accounts Supplier statements reconciliations Registering and verifying CIS Suppliers on HMRC Communicating with vendors and rejecting incorrect invoices and get them reissued Checking invoices are being processed by the team correctly and to the correct GL codes Ideal profile as the successful Accounts Payable Team Leader: Personable, engaging, highly motivated Respectful, keen to go the extra mile, with a keen eye for detail Experienced within AP, and able to step up into an AP Team Leader role Methodical and accurate Strong on processes and systems Potential previous man-management experience This is a superb AP Team Leader role that will enhance your career and offer you stability, progression and long term career prospects.
