It's your ability to deal with claimants and handle all aspects of Claims activities that is most important - the specific technical class knowledge can be learnt.

The Claims officer is responsible for efficiently processing and managing life insurance claims, ensuring our policyholders receive timely and accurate support during difficult times.
The Claims Officer performs all core activities within the team, demonstrating dedication, a detail-oriented approach and providing outstanding and memorable service to claimants.
To ensure that claims are handled efficiently and that payment for valid claims is made to policyholders, whilst being vigilant and aware of potential fraudulent activity.
You may be required to coordinate third party services that may be required by policyholders following an accident or incident, and should take pride in working in an effective, efficient way being mindful of your client's circumstance.
Main Duties
Answer the telephone in a polite and professional manner, dealing with the query as appropriate and gathering relevant information from the customer and entering it into the Company computer systems, as appropriate.
The role will involve handling insurance claims from cradle to grave, liaising with clients, insurers and loss adjusters to provide a first-class claims service.
We're looking for a part-time claims handler to join our team for a 12 month FTC.
90-95% of the claims are property claims but there will also be some liability and financial lines claims.
Provide comprehensive advice on all claims, advising policyholders of the best course of action to achieve settlement.
Manage claim cost, achieving economical settlement while ensuring the customer's experience is excellent throughout the lifecycle of their claim.
What will my duties be
