We are seeking an Insurance Administrator to support our Corporate Finance Manager in delivering a high-quality service aligned with our Vision, Mission Statement, and values.
This role is crucial in coordinating all insurance risk within the business, ensuring we have the appropriate insurance to mitigate current and future risks.
Day to Day of the role
Assist in the procurement of insurance services, including tendering, negotiation of long-term agreements, and renewals to manage risks and deliver value for money.
We currently have an opportunity for an Insurance Administrator to join a highly experienced commercial insurance team.
You will play an important role in supporting the team which specialises in areas of insurance such as Real Estate, Receivers Real Estate, Directors & Officers & Engineering Inspections/Insurance.
Our client is an award-winning financial services provider based in the City of London.
You will also support the underwriters in administrative activities related to the underwriting process.
The Portfolio Manager Operations oversees the administration of insurance and/or reinsurance accounts and contracts, from establishing and maintaining contractual data, processing the insurance and/or reinsurance account bookings, claims handling and manage the related cash flow.
Responsible for entries (treaties and/or facultative) in the Accounting and Underwriting system/platforms and all further modifications
You will be responsible for servicing accounts from 'cradle to grave' for our clients including written and telephone discussions with new and existing clients, renewal administration, preparation of presentations to insurers, negotiating premiums with underwriters together with providing pro-active claims handling service for customers.
Negotiate with relevant markets/underwriters to find the most suitable insurance for the client and on best terms.
To lead the development and customer service of an allocated portfolio of broker partners and their clients, assessing their insurance needs and risk profile.
Enhance revenue stream from existing client base and proactively develop new business opportunities.
